Airtight heating band
Usage:
Type 200 and 220 band heaters are intended for heating the nozzles of plastic injection molding machines.
Maximum operating temperature for band heaters: 350°C, maximum load 4.2 W/cm² for 200 types and up to 8 W/cm² for 220 types.
Technical description:
- Resistive alloy wire wound on a mica paper backing;
- Mica paper insulation;
- Folded sheet shielding (not waterproof) in treated steel, stainless steel or brass for type 200 band heaters;
- Waterproof shielding (IP56) by crushed and brazed stainless steel or brass tube for type 220 band heaters;
- Minimum diameter: 20 mm, maximum diameter: 60 mm;
- Minimum height 20 mm, maximum height: 60 mm;
- Voltage: 24 to 400 V Single phase;
- Tightening by screw, number according to the height of the collar.
Possible variants:
- Holes for passage of probe;
- Built-in thermocouple.
Assembly:
It is recommended, during assembly, to ensure a good tightening of the heating collar and to perfect it after 30 minutes of heating.
To ensure proper operation of the collar heater, the user must provide a temperature control system.
